A Beautiful Eagle River Wedding with Sis's Cafe & Catering Wedding

Over the 4th of July weekend, we had the pleasure of catering a beautiful wedding in Eagle River. It was one of those perfect Alaskan summer days—plenty of sunshine, fresh flowers, and the kind of relaxed joy you can feel in the air.

The bride and groom wanted a menu that celebrated local flavors, so we built it around one of our favorites: fresh grilled Alaskan salmon. We prepared the salmon simply, with a bright citrus-herb topping that let the quality of the fish shine. From the first bite, you could taste the care that went into every detail.
Alongside the salmon, we served hearty wild rice pilaf, savory roasted vegetables, and two big, colorful salads packed with fresh greens, beets, berries, and feta. Homemade biscuits rounded out the meal—warm, buttery, and perfect with a little drizzle of honey.
The buffet tables were decorated with vibrant summer flowers and a few sweet personal touches from the couple. It all came together to create a setting that felt inviting, relaxed, and celebratory—exactly what you hope for on a wedding day.

We’re so grateful to the newlyweds for letting us be part of their celebration. At Sis’s Cafe & Catering, it means everything to help create memories around the table.
